Bags or ready-mix?

Premix bags suit small jobs such as fence posts and steps. One cubic yard is 27 cubic feet, which is 45 bags of 80 lb mix at the 0.60 cu ft yield printed on QUIKRETE's data sheet, so most slabs are easier with a ready-mix delivery.
